How to Show an Object Structure in Kurve When Creating a New Record

To display an Object Structure (OS) in Kurve when creating a new record, you need to configure two things: Application Permissions and Report OS Security.

1. Grant Application Permissions:

Users must have access to the Application tied to each Object Structure needed for Kurve Reporting. You can do this using Kurve's built-in security groups or your own.

  1. Open Security Groups and select the relevant security group.
  2. Go to Applications and find the application linked to the OS.
  3. Select it, scroll to the options, and enable Create Report and Run Reports
    • If using Kurve's built-in groups, the following are already configured: Asset, Inventory, Work Order, Item, and Purchase Order.
  4. Repeat for each security group that needs access.

2. Grant Report OS Security

  1. Navigate to Report Administration
  2. Under More Actions, select Report Object Structure Security
  3. Find your new Object Structure(s)
  4. Grant Report Object Structure Security to each security group
